Glossary: Rest days
The calculated rest days correspond to the number of rest days necessary to achieve a balanced training load (i.e. TSB = 0). However, depending on the current training goal, a TSB = 0 may not necessarily be desirable, so that in this case the rest days can be ignored.
Like all TRIMP-related calculations, these calculations are based only on duration and heart rate. Different sports and alternative training can therefore not be considered.
